Perfect tool for precision digging, I emptied dirt into wheelbarrow then put post in and shoveled dirt out of wheelbarrow keeping area very clean! Easy to use, my Dad had one 50 years ago and I was so pleased to find this one. Highly recommended!!!!!

Probably would work well with loose soil, but my soil is heavy clay and still hard to dig a hole.

This thing works super fast and is much easier than traditional post hole diggers. I love the fact that you can add to the bar for deeper holes.

This auger is great! Reminds me of one my folks had when I was little. Digs holes great. I chose this one instead of an electric one because of the fear of kickback when hitting roots or rocks. We are putting in a fence, and it is making the job a lot easier, safer and less expensive than renting an electric one at a home improvement store. Great product.

It's OK. Hard to get through roots. Had to use an ax to break the roots around the hole before the thing would work, but it does work and it's very durable.

The Product performs well in loamy and moist clay soils, which is what I used it in. Digging depth is easily extendable using 3/4 inch pipe threaded on each end and 3/4 inch female to female connectors.
