Great product. I needed to winch back straight a 6 inch diameter maple tree that had blown almost to a 45 degree. Fairly easy to get these in the ground. I live in SC where we have a hard clay type soil. Takes about 10 mins at a slow pace. Get it started straight then use a short pole as a lever through the ring to keep turning it into the ground. Need to apply slight pressure downward while turning. Had to move one and they're easy to back out as well. Holding the tree great with some steel cable.

I purchased these to winch (3300 lb ratchet straps) two large trees, which had been partially toppled by Hurricane Matthew, back to vertical. These are amazing anchors which are easy to screw into the ground using a metal bar (used a small floor jack handle). They hold extremely well in sandy Florida soil!

used this to help secure a boat dock and it seemed to do a great job. It got a little difficult to screw in once I got near the top of the auger.
will have to see how it holds but worked well so far.

Easy to screw into the ground, yet the holding power is wonderful. I feel safe with my boat tethered to these.

Bent like a piece of dime store junk. I was using this for landscaping, as an anchor point, trying to move a 900lb rock. The rock was on a sled, so I wasn't just dragging the rock across the ground. I moved the rock about 5 feet, went to reset, and saw this. Not for rocky Pacific Northwest soil.

Works as advertised however in my case I should have gotten the longer length as I am using it in sand. Very, very strong!

This worked great for me. Used it to straighten a fence.
